1. I am currently working as an Accountant at Community Actions Voluntary Association
   (CAVA), and plays the following roles;

Preparing Accounts Payables transactions, reconcile and resolve discrepancies
whenever necessary
• Coding costs to the correct budget codes
• Preparing complete and timely balance sheet reconciliations every month.
• Ensuring Accounts Receivable are accurate and up to date
• Correcting journals on a monthly basis and ensuring all supporting documents
are in place
• Preparing and reviewing purchase ledgers
• Updating cash and bank records on timely manner
• Cash flow management
• Preforming Bank reconciliations
• Submitting of Kenya Revenue reports
• Ensuring all statutory deductions are made and remitted on time including
VAT, Withholding tax and Withholding VAT.

2. Served as an Accountant at Kenyatta National Hospital and
played the following roles;

Commitment and recommitment of local purchase orders, local services orders
and impress warrants.
• Paying direct and indirect vouchers in the payment voucher book
• Fixed asset and cost accounting to ensure that appropriate records of assets are
maintained.
• Opening and activating outpatient institutional accounts
• Billing of institutional patients’ accounts
• Finalizing of institutional outpatient invoices
• Preparation of journal vouchers to ledger for: Staff debtors, Institutions and
Salary advance
• Dispatching of Institutional invoices
• Debt control and cash reconciliation

2019-2022- Studied  Bachelor of
Commerce at Zetech University and attained First Class Honours Degree.
