About sang samuel:
as I am a certified Kenyan Medical Doctor currently working at KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research program as a Research Medical officer and clinical lead in various clinical vaccine and drug trial studies doubling up in coordination, project management and monitoring with QC.
The projects I am involved in range from phase one to four and post-licensure safety surveillance, working with infants, children, and adult populations exploring vaccines for malaria, pneumonia, shigella, and Covid 19. I ensure the safety of the study participants and the procedures undertaken are in line with GCP and ethical considerations, which is one of my core roles. I aim to utilize and better clinical research, improve human health and quality of life through research, capacity building, innovation, service delivery, identifying health challenges in the community, and looking for solutions.
