Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
• Plan, direct or coordinate security activities, including high-risk events to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms following emergency response procedures and prepare reports
• Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches and prepare reports
• Ensure serviceability of all electronic security surveillance appliances, firefighting equipment, electrical fences, and alarm systems through regular controls and testing
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies and represent ICRC in court proceedings when necessary
• Monitor effective implementation of and compliance with security rules and procedures and advise the management/line manager on implications in case of non-compliance
• Monitor the effective functioning of access control mechanism and provide feedback on possible improvements
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Directly supervise ICRC security and safety officers and indirectly the contracted security guards
