I have over 15 years experience in both consultancy including internal and external auditing. Over 8 years of these have been spent work for International Audit Firms among them a “Big 4” firm. My experience has earned me technical skills and the supervisory and leadership Skills necessary to deliver Project Deliverables in a Senior Position in Internal Audit and Compliance portfolio.

My Work Experience is Summarised Below:

2018 to Currently- Managing Partner- S.N Kaniu & Company; In charge of Quality Assurance and Managing the Deliverables ranging from client acceptance to signing of the audit reports. Currently, I am managing various internal audit assignment including a client with a  US$ 16 Million Investment Porfolio.

2015- 2017- Senior Public Sector & Not for Profit Manager- Parker Randall International- In charge of handling diverse portfolio of services for clients in the not for profit sector. These services included Project Audits, Internal Audits, Preassessments, Fund Management among other roles.

September 2013 to August 2015- Finance and Administration Manager- Ananda Marga universal Relief Team- In charge of handling grants from various donors including USAID, DfiD, European Union among other agencies. In this role, I also dealt with managing subgrants and conducting audits on the reports submitted.

January 2012 - August 2013- Senior Auditor, Public Sector and Not for Profit Department at Deloitte and Touche handling Public Sector Portfolio incorporating NGO, Government and other Not for Profit Actors

January 2010- December 2011- Senior Auditor, Public Sector and Not for Profit Department at PKF International handling Public Sector Portfolio incorporating NGO, Government and other Not for Profit Actors

August 2007- December 2009- Associate Auditor , Public Sector and Not for Profit Department at PKF International handling Public Sector Portfolio incorporating NGO, Government and other Not for Profit Actors.

2005- 2007 - University of Nairobi- Attained a Masters of Business Administration.

2005- 2007- Strathmore and Vision Institute- Studied for Accountancy Certificate (KASNEB)
