Highly energetic and analytic-minded individual with 3+ years’ extensive experience working for a busy international manufacturing institution. Successful track record of streamlining human resource policies and processes following laid down labour laws and procedures.

Approximate rate: USD$ 10 per hour

Experience

 

Over four (4) years of progressive experience in Human Resource and administrative functions across manufacturing, hospitality, retail, construction, and HR consultancy sectors.

Proven experience working within large, fast-paced, and multi-unit organizations, supporting both operational and strategic HR initiatives.

Strong expertise in payroll management, including preparation, processing, and reconciliation using systems such as Sage 300 People, QuickBooks, KISSFLOW, and MS Excel.

Extensive involvement in recruitment and selection processes, including shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.

Hands-on experience in employee relations, disciplinary management, grievance handling, and compliance with Kenyan labour laws and statutory requirements (WIBA, DOSH, labour offices).

Demonstrated capability in attendance management, leave administration, contract tracking, probation reviews, and offboarding processes, including final dues and exit interviews.

Experience supporting performance management systems, including appraisals, performance improvement plans (PIPs), transfers, and promotions.

Actively involved in training and development initiatives, preparation of training calendars, and coordination of employee development programs.

Competence in HR analytics and reporting, including workforce cost projection, actual vs projected cost mapping, and preparation of HR reports for management and board use.

Background in software engineering and full-stack development, providing added value in HR systems optimization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Recognized for being analytical, detail-oriented, and people-focused, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and engage effectively with employees at all organizational levels.

Education

Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) – Meru University (2016–2021), providing a strong academic foundation in human resource management, organizational behavior, labour relations, and business operations.

Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP I – Level 1) – College of Human Resources Management (Ongoing), strengthening practical competence in HR practice, labour laws, and professional standards.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA I – Part 2) – Self-study (Ongoing), enhancing understanding of payroll, financial reporting, and cost management relevant to HR and administration roles.

Software Engineering Bootcamp – Moringa School (January 2024 – August 2024), with training in full-stack development, databases, and systems thinking, adding value in HR systems, analytics, and process automation.

QuickBooks Certification – KESAP College, supporting proficiency in payroll processing, accounting systems, and financial administration.
