Samson Mac'Oduol

I regularly advise Kenya and international clients on my core practice area of data protection and have significant experience in information technology and telecommunications law. I specialise in strategic IT and telecommunication projects including cloud computing, outsourcing software licensing, support and service agreements, acting for both users and suppliers. 

I also have experience in other sectors such as payment systems (fintech), gaming & gambling, consumer protection, insurance, microfinance, capital markets as well as extensive experience, in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including licences and terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services. 

My practice includes advising local and multi-national institutions on M&A and restructurings, as well as providing advice on corporate governance and regulatory issues. Additionally, I advise a wide range of corporate clients in all areas of employment matters (e.g. drafting of employment contracts & HR policies, employee representation matters, outsourcing, dismissals and dispute resolution) including advising on international and cross-border matters
