Sabina Oundo

I am a dedicated, accomplished teacher and an administrator with extensive strengths in training, coaching, mentoring, and international program development across diverse cultures. An outstanding communicator, facilitator, and negotiator, with a proven ability to cultivate productive relationships and establish and achieve goals while building and motivating top-performing teams. I am fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili languages. Likewise, I am an Innovative and inspirational leader; with a proven record of creatively launching successful new programs, including healthy co-curricular activities and integrated character education, breaking new ground, and exceeding expectations. Draw from broad international background across East Africa: Rwanda and Kenya. 

I am effective as a team player with strong classroom leadership command and communication skills. I’m a loyal and reliable person, able to work under pressure and able to easily adjust to a new multi-cultural environment. I am also a God-fearing person with integrity. I am a Curriculum Developer; I have helped in the development of the education curriculum in schools for the past 18 years by teaching and training my students in various fields of learning. 

I possess excellent Customer Care qualities whereby I treat all my learners equally and with special care in order to facilitate maximum learning. My Classroom Management skills enable me to effectively manage all my learners irrespective of their ages or status. I am a trainer in all aspects of learning. I train both adults and young people in all fields of learning and also carry out Motivational Speaking to adolescents and adults on how to cope with distractive issues emerging in life. I have good skills in resource management; I think creatively and make appropriate decisions aiming at specific goals and constraints in my duties. From there, I am able to generate alternatives and choose the best alternative.

I have experience of 17 years as a classroom teacher in primary school, 2 years as a principal in primary, 3 years as a principal in secondary school, and 4 years as a Methodology and Resources Advisor in Rwanda.

I graduated from The University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Education, 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division), majoring in History/Kiswahili.
