Robins Kiama

Robins Kiama is an AR Creative Developer and multimedia creative producer. 
He has experience producing short documentaries, feature stories, product promos, music videos and emerging XR tech projects. He is a multi-faceted professional, with in-depth experience across all aspects of the production process – from concept development to project management, directing, shooting, video editing and creating motion graphics. 
As an award-winning AR Creative Developer in the largest AR/VR hackathon in Africa, he is about pushing the boundaries of augmented reality technology and creating immersive experiences that captivate and engage audiences. His dream is to create emerging digital media products such as AR/VR/XR with an African narrative, starting with his own country, Kenya. 
Robin studied Film & TV production with the Mohammed Amin Foundation in 2013, before going on to work as a video journalist and multimedia producer across a range of organisations. He currently works as an independent multimedia consultant and has founded a Nairobi-based creative start-up studio focusing on emerging XR tech creations.
He is a driven artistic director with a knack for creative visualisation, superb client and team management skills, and the hands-on experience needed to develop bespoke solutions and lead innovative projects across film and documentary, live streaming and digital campaigns.
