Duties and Responsibilities
● Raising purchase requests to the procurement department via WMS.
● Receiving purchase orders via the WMS system for the branch
● Receiving all the invoices from suppliers and documenting them in an orderly
manner.
● Documenting any returns of goods from a supplier and following up for a credit
note/replacement
● Doing daily/ weekly stock counts.
● Adhering to the FIFO rule to ensure that goods cannot expire while in the warehouse
● Running of stock levels in the WMS and doing a random stock count to ascertain they
always match and there are no discrepancies
