Multifaceted Biomedical Engineer with previous experience as a Medical Devices Service Engineer. HVAC systems, ICU, Invitro, and theatrical products are all areas of expertise. A round data-driven, and self-motivated engineering science graduate pliable to explore, learn, engage, and foster sustainability. 

I spent 11 months in the field of biomedical Engineering: 3 months at the Technical University of Mombasa Engineering faculty labs, 4 months at the department of Health and sanitation in Tharaka Nithi county, and 4 more at Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Mission Hospital. I assisted the Biomedical Engineering teams with the administration and upkeep of hospital supply systems, including water and plumbing works, power, steam, vacuum, and oxygen. I contributed to the writing of recommendations for hospital equipment maintenance, general preventive maintenance, and servicing of renal, ICU, maternity, cold room, and theater equipment. I participated in training nursing personnel about the necessity for sterilization, single-use cannula, IV and infusion sets, bloodlines, and the efficacy of contemporary trends to ensure safe and minimal contamination in the delivery of healthcare services. This entire process has taught me the significance of creating a convenient, memorable, and client-satisfying customer experience. It also helped me develop my abilities in teamwork, verbal communication, and project management.

For five years at the Technical University of Mombasa, I went through a great deal of coursework on cutting-edge design trends and best practices, such as Principles of proximal User Experience Design and medical/ biomedical Application Design, Biomedical Instrumentation, Bio-signal processing, Control Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, IN Vivo & IN Vitro technology in medical optics, medical imaging science technology, Diagnostic and Therapeutic technology where the focus is on patient care, and so on. In the final year of my Bsc Medical Engineering course, I undertook entrepreneurship skills, ethics in engineering practice, reliability technology, technology assessment, and occupational safety and health doctrines.
