Rahel M Musyoki

I am a global award-winning leader with 10+ years’ experience in strategic partnerships, business development and marketing & communications within different industries , with the most recent being in the healthcare industry. Within the healthcare space, I have contributed largely to strategy and growth within start-ups, as well as multinationals with the ambition to enter and grow in different African markets. I have led strategic partnership efforts with private, public sectors as well as governments to enable revenue growth, client portfolio growth and market entry for the adoption of digital healthcare solutions. Some of my achievements include enabling Helios Health to enter the African market in Kenya and Ghana through its innovative healthcare solution, signing partnerships with two of the largest insurance companies in East Africa, Britam and Jubilee Insurance companies which has enabled thousands of individuals to access affordable healthcare solutions. The achievements led me to be awarded by Angaza Awards in 2022 as one of the top 10 women to watch in banking and finance in Africa, as well as a Global Leadership Award by The Global Leaders Council. There is still a huge gap around healthcare access and affordability in Kenya and majority of African countries, that is why I am passionate about championing conversations and co-creating propositions with like-minded individuals and/or organizations that will address this need. I also pride myself in being a storyteller, to bring to light some of the experiences, challenges, and life stories of individuals, change makers and organizations in topics around healthcare, leadership, social impact etc. These conversations are shared via YouTube and podcast channels, that has garnered thousands of positive engagements. I am also involved in activities and initiatives that contribute to social impact, where I have previously co-founded a women’s community-based organization to empower women, as well as being a mentor where I guide young women on how to navigate through their personal and professional goals. My purpose in life is to influence change in any capacity, that will enable individuals from any walk of life to have freedom for their health, financial and social well-being.
