Leadership and School Culture

• Manage the implementation of school calendar programme of activities, schedules etc.
• Oversee the organization and implementation of school events
• Strategic leadership and shaping of the overall direction of the culture of the organization
• Maintain and up to date awareness of current practices and techniques relating to school programs, teaching and administration 
• Preparation of weekly progress reports 
• Suggest appropriate changes and ensure adherence to approved policies, practices and procedures by management

Programming and Curriculum

• Implement the international curriculum (IB) of MYP 
• Co-ordinate and foster the development of programs within the school to best meet the needs and interests of the students
• Chair productive meetings with school personnel
• Professionally develop the teaching team through training and appraisals 
• Assist the teaching staff in the development, implementation, modifications, and selection of curriculum materials
• Supervise and observe classes and provide feedback, assessments and guidance to teachers
• Ensure the behavioral and support plans for students are implemented
• Investigation and resolution of any issues or conflict that may arise between staff

School Operational Management 

• Develop, and manage the implementation and monitoring, of school policies and safety protocols
• Provide oversight management on procurement & transport, finance, HR & Administration 
• Oversee school maintenance and ensure other safety protocols are adhered 

Financial Management

• Ensure financial procedures and all expenditure are in accordance with the workplan and budget.
• Contribution to transparent and effective procurement practices
• Adherence to fund management with special attention to donor care and associated guidelines

Security, Health and Safety

• Handle emergencies and school crises 
• Promote health and safety initiatives with firm application of established guidelines
• Monitor and review the security status of the areas of operation on a regular basis, liaising as applicable with other relevant security bodies 
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, and reporting of security incidents
• Ensure security plans and protocols for the areas of operation are updated and implemented in response to changes in the security situation.
