Results oriented professional with 10+ years of work experience as a Social Worker and agricultural entrepreneur in implementing Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC ) Programs , Youth& Women economic empowerment, horticultural farming, and behavior change  programs in informal settlements of Nairobi and its environs, Urban Refugeesprotection programs, promoting social change development, cohesion and the empowerment of people and communities in Kenya through regional and international organizations. Also passionate about various Sustainable Development Goals but pays more attention to SDG 13 on climate change action. As a result, have taken a keen interest in sustainable horticultural farming, subsequently training vulnerable women and youth on proper land reclamation and smart farming to end poverty. Through these capacity building exercises various beneficiaries have gained skills on wholesome farm management and agricultural entrepreneurship to end poverty, creating employment opportunities to some of successful trainees in Nairobi my established small-scale business that supplies organic agricultural produce generated from the farm to ready clientele within Nairobi. Away from Social Work and agricultural entrepreneurship, I enjoy travelling and experiencing diverse cultures across sub-Saharan Africa 

I am a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development Graduate (DaystarUniversity) with 10 + years of work experience in Projectsmanagement, working with Urban Refugees(refugee/displacement context) , Coaching and training small scale businessowners in Entrepreneurship and Financial Management skills .Currently, I am working as a Social Worker at (HIAS Refugee Trust of Kenya) where I am tasked with identifying vulnerable refugees in need of social support, carryingout social assessments and keeping track of socio-environmental risks faced by refugeeto ensure mitigation of risks andidentifying Refugeeswhorequire psychosocial supportamong other tasks asassigned.

I have also worked in other ProgramsManagements jobs where I acquired excellent skills and expertise in training small scale businessowners in informal settlements on Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, Supply chain management and Financial Linkages, implementation of Youth & Women economic empowerment and behavior change programs and OVC activities. My ability to coordinate program budgets, schedules, logistics, and life cycle tasks to comprehensively contribute to all facets of onetime, target implementation and execution position me to thrive in this challenging job. With experience in external stakeholder/ relationship management and building coalitions, communitymobilization and engagement, ability to work well under pressure,manage multiple tasks and meet tight/competing deadlines, I believe, I am positioned to thrive in this challenging position.
