About Peter Mwangi:

I am a sales and marketing professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce - Marketing option with 8 years’ experience in sales, marketing and distribution. In addition, I have solid business development, leadership and decision-making skills that can make an immediate contribution to your company. In my previous role of the Marketing Officer with Machakos Doctors Plaza, where my key responsibility was developing and executing marketing strategies through designing effective marketing communication messages to the target audience in order to create brand recognition and loyalty and subsequently increase the traffic of customers and expand the market share. Previously I also worked with the Standard Group as an Area Sales and Distribution Manager, with a responsibility of generating targeted revenue through increased sales and building the company's brand image through management and recruitment of key accounts, corporates, distributors and agents. I also managed the day-to-day distribution activities of sales assistants in the region to ensure all deliveries were on time, and any logistical challenge is addressed timely. I have also undergone management and leadership training, which have sharpened my leadership skills especially in the areas of team coordination and alignment thus enabling fully exploitation of each employee's potential leading to consistent improved productivity.
