Program Assistant-Faith to Action Network-July 2024-current

Assist in coordination of stakeholder meetings, provision of logistical support, and assistance in the drafting of workshop budgets. I also assist in needs assessments, and the development of concept papers, report writing and submission to partners, capturing best practices for knowledge generation, and procurement and distribution of project materials in youth activities in operational counties. 

Volunteer Program Officer-Haven of Dreams-June 2023-April 2024

Resource mobilization through grant and proposal writing, while assisting in overseeing project implementation and community engagement. The major achievements of this include successful grant applications, community forums on GBV prevention and youth empowerment, data analysis showing organizational impact from 2021-2023, and stakeholder mapping for 2024 planning.

Program Assistant/Research mentee-August 2021-June 2024

Providing support in qualitative research methods, interview transcription, coding, and systematic reviews in identities, values, and spiritual health themes. I also assisted in drafting concept notes and theoretical frameworks for grant applications. Other responsibilities included mentoring young adolescent boys and girls in life skills and value building, with special attention to transition periods. I also conducted follow-ups with alumni and their families when necessary. In this role I supported the establishment of organizational partnerships, such as those with EMDIYA and the Utu-Glogoh Hospital, and the module development for the organizational handbook "My Life Starting Now."
