the busy facility as an Assistant IT personnel and currently offering support to the SOS Children’s Villages

Kenya- Buru Buru location.

Experience

  • Setting up workstations and accounts for new users.
  •   Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  •    Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
  •   Testing new technology during EMR upgrades.
  •  Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware fault
  • Maintaining records of software licences.
  •    Provision of ICT support during new staff orientation including the ICT manager when being oriented at the Buru Buru location
  •  Implementing new pricelist in the health information system.
  •    Prepare minutes for meetings and ensure proper documentation of correspondences.
  •  Providing technical end-user support at the SOS Medical Centre, FSP and SOS
  • children’s villages Nairobi.
  •  Assisting at the existing iHUB on a need basis.
  •  Monitoring and maintaining Computer systems and networks
  •    Taking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face, over the telephone or remotely to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  •  Assisting the various vendors when they are on site.
  •  Health Information System Administration.
  •  Server management and Maintenance.
  •  Backup and restoration of data on client machines.
  •  Network management ensuring availability to all end users.
  •  Mentorship/training of new system users
  •  Configuring IP addresses on computers and printers.
  •  Documentation of new, relocated and obsolete ICT assets.
  •  Performing maintenance of all ICT assets on location on a routine basis.
  •    Setting up new users' accounts and profiles on the EMR and dealing with password issues Responsible for loading, extracting and validation of client data
  •  Documentation of ICT processes and procedures taking place on site.
  •    Data entry, data auditing, creating data reports & monitoring data for accuracy, creating new records and updating existing ones in the system.
  •  Inputting details from paper records onto a EMR system
  •  Coordinate and provide technical support for the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  •  Making follow up with users to ensure that the issues have been fully resolved.
  •    Evaluating  and documenting  Internal  and External  quality  assurance schemes.  Full technical support to ensure standardized system or procedures for Patient  registration and transfer out
  •  Ensure the assets are well maintained and repairs conducted on time.
  •  Maintaining an up to date ICT and general asset Register.
  •  Liaising with outsourced service providers on delivery of ICT services.
  •  Conducting Client Satisfaction Survey.
  •   Update Talking walls on a Quarterly basis
  •    Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, and ad hoc preparation and compiling of reports from all departments in a medical center
  •  Preparation of tools to be used in data collection and training relevant parties.
  •  Conduct data quality assessment on DATIM versus data in the KHIS
  •  Participate in Quality Improvement meetings.
  •  Overseeing Quarterly and Impromptu stocktake.
  •    Assess new clients for enrolment in the Comprehensive Care Centre on a daily basis.
  •  Monitoring and Evaluation of the CIHEB CONNECT program
  •  Prepare SRF on a time and need basis.
  •  Preparation and submission of all MOH reporting tools
