• I am a passionate educator with over 18 years of experience in teaching the International Cambridge IGCSE system in Seychelles. I have also worked as the head of science department for over 3 years.
• I have been teaching Combined science at Key stage 3 level and IGCSE Biology and Coordinated science to Key stage 4 candidates. As a teacher, I love my profession. I take it as a vocation rather than a job. I marvel at my students’ achievements and at all times I try to insulate their self-confidence and make them see their achievement coming. I attribute my achievement to thorough planning and high expectations I have of my students. I strive to be consistent in application of rules and rewards. I have some experience of teaching in a mixed ability school environment where application of differentiated instruction is vital. My experience from working with different students from divergent background & nationalities qualifies me for posting within your institution.
• As a teacher, I use multiple approaches in teaching and learning, but mostly student centred approach to enhance active learning amongst the students. I use group work, differentiated teaching approach to cater for all mixed ability students, practical lessons I am knowledgeable in the latest educational technologies, such as online learning platforms, which I use to create engaging lessons and activities for my classes. My lessons are well-crafted, organized, and comprehensive, enabling me to help my students develop a deep understanding of the subject material. I am also skilled in classroom management and have a deep understanding of how to create a safe and nurturing learning environment. My ability to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive in my classroom.

• Maintained a 100% pass record for all candidates who sat for their IGCSE Cambridge examinations.
• Produced the top candidate score in the whole country in IGCSE Biology October/November 2021 examinations, scoring 97% (A*).
• Managed to produce so many successful candidates who have furthered their education and now are successful Seychelles citizens in various fields such as doctors, nurses, lab technicians, teachers, pilots etc. 
• Patron of school’s Science Club
• Member of various school committees such as Eco-school, First Aid Club, School beautification committees and Sports club.
• Led & managed to produce a vibrant and committed staff members who work professionally as a team to ensure success of the science department.
• I am also skilled in curriculum development, utilizing educational technologies, and creating a supportive learning environment
