Paul is a strategic leader with a track record of successfully managing regional and global strategic initiatives, culture changes, and change management procedures in large, complex businesses. A visionary driven leader with more than 15+ years of global international experience in more than 25 countries, and a range of sectors, including banking, education, international non-profit organizations, Environment, global media, governance and the humanitarian and cultural relations sectors. Paul is the chairman of the INGO HR RoundTable, Board Director for the Care for A Child's Heart (CFACH) and Liaison officer, Greening Oloitokitok
He is a member of various professional organizations, including the Society of Human Resources Management (USA), the Institute of Human Resource Management (Kenya), Association of certified mediators, Kenya Institute of Management, Kenya Horticultural Society, Greening Oloitokitok, Toastmasters International, Rotary International, and the Round Table for HR Professionals of INGO.
Paul has held senior leadership positions including Director, People & Culture, Greenpeace, Acting Executive, Director, Greenpeace Africa and Director, People & Culture for International Rescue Committee, Regional Head for Talent & Development and as Regional HR Business Partner across Sub Saharan Africa and Global Talent management team for the British Council. Moreover, he also served as the International HR Business Partner at the British Broadcasting Corporation for the African continent. Prior to that Paul served as the Head of Marketing and Senior Trainer at Outward Bound, International Kenya and had a stint in a professional exchange programme in Hong Kong.
Paul’s educational background includes an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, an undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies from Moi University, and a Post-Graduate Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management Kenya.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Paul is actively involved in initiatives such as the Chair of the Board of Enkii High School. Paul is a speaker at Thunderbird School of Global Management, affiliated with Arizona State University, and International HRD Square, which is under HRC International Group, a global community that facilitates sharing, learning, and shaping the future of work. Paul also volunteers in developing excellence and Team Synergy for teachers and school leaders and support study and life skills for students in schools. He is also involved in career mentoring for college students and young talents in his capacity as the patron of I-impact team
