Career civil servant with over 34 years of experience in the Livestock, and food security sector,. Implemented Livelihoods project funded by the World Bank, Africa Development, and Swedish International Development Agency while working with the Ministry of Agriculture , Livestock & Fisheries in Kenya.
My qualifications include Msc. in Agriculture & Rural Development, BSc. Animal Production, Diploma in Animal Health with several short courses on the livestock sector.
I have undergone strategic leadership and senior management courses at the Kenya School of Government. I am an expert in participatory methodologies, Training of Trainers on conflict resolutions, HIV/AIDS, I and natural resource management.
Experience
34 years of working experience with the Government of Kenya, Ministry of Agriculture as an extension officer, district livestock production officer, and coordinator in projects at the county level funded by the world bank , AfDB and SIDA.
