A dynamic and ambitious professional with over 10 years of experience in supply chain, versed with excellent knowledge of supporting the company’s strategic alliances in busy environments and also within a team setting. I am self-driven, ambitious, innovative, analytical, a fast learner, and pride myself as a true team player with good interpersonal skills. I possess a great desire and drive to prosper in all work that I venture into. I have good analytical skills. I’m involved in analyzing customer supply plans, actual production and customer forecasts ensuring any deviations are deeply analyzed to determine the root cause and corrective actions taken to avoid recurrence.

I have deep understanding of SAP system having participated in the design and development stages of planning functionalities. Through the system I’m able to pull reports analyze and make recommendations to ensure the business meets its objectives for example open orders, stocks levels, SMP, BoM. I was recognized by management for my input in the successful implementation of the project as a key user.

I have good understanding of the S & OP process. I participate in ensuring timely submission of inputs for decision making.  I also follow up on actions arising from the S & OP process to ensure they are closed on time.

I have auditing skills having been trained as an ISO 9001:2008 internal auditor and participated regularly in conducting internal audits for various departments in SVLK and VEK. This skill enables me to bring improvement in processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. I use excel spread sheets to consolidate planning data (supply forecasting, Forecast accuracy computation, PPA, OTIF), analyze, publish and present in excel and power point with recommendation for decision making. 

Other key competencies and skills acquired during my 10 years’ experience include:

• Vast experience FMCG having worked in the quality department, Water treatment plant and packaging at Keroche Breweries Limited.
• HSSE management skills. Trained Permit to Work and Authorized Gas tester.
• Leading people having worked in production department with 51 contractors working under my supervision.
• Contracts management –having been part of packaging Supplier prequalification, negotiation and tender documents review. 
• Implementation of Kaizen projects focusing on delivering cost saving initiatives and process improvements. I was part of the project team that worked on reducing change over time from 1 hour to 30 minutes on average which has significantly reduced extra working hours in the plant.
• Quality management having worked as a Terminal Lab manager. Currently Part of the monthly review meetings to improve key indicators.
• Training and coaching having trained the intern in Supply department and trained the Supply Assistant.
• Working closely with Quality, Production and Finance on Formulation alignment in ensuring the right Cogs
