As an interior designer with several successfully shipped design projects and a passion for serving humanity by creating positive social impact, I am now seeking to apply my skills and experience to a product management role. With experience in both construction project management and running a non-profit social impact initiative, I am confident that I have the skills and expertise needed to excel in this new field.
While working as an interior designer, I have developed a keen understanding of design, space planning, and customer needs, and have created innovative design solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. I am experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams of architects, contractors, suppliers and tradespeople to manage projects from concept to completion, and ensuring that all design requirements are met whilst managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholders. I have also successfully launched and led a non-profit social impact initiative, where I honed my skills in project management, community engagement, and stakeholder relations to grow a community offering psychosocial support to young mothers in Kenyan universities.
I am excited to bring my diverse skillset and experience to a product management role, where I can leverage my design, project management, and social influence expertise to help teams develop innovative products that have a positive impact on people's lives.
