Norah Mbeyu

I am currently doing a degree in bachelor of commerce at Technical University of Mombasa and I have finished CPA part II in 2019. With my accounting and auditing experience, I am fully confident that I can use my skills and knowledge to become a valuable member of Action Against Hunger and to grow with the organization.  

The work experience has helped me develop good leadership qualities and critical skills to dealing with people for example humility, honesty, transparency, accountability, interpersonal skills among others. It has also helped me learn and understand how to receive and serve different clients to their satisfactory.

 I am an energetic individual who is passionate about accounting, serving people according to my profession and delivery of reports on a timely manner. 

I am well-versed in managing petty cash, processing invoices, and ensuring all statutory deductions such as VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, NITA, and MINIMUM TAX are accurately calculated, filed and paid on time. In addition, I have a proven track record in managing payroll for employees, effectively handling receivables and payables, and reconciling bank and cash transactions. 

I am proficient in using Quick books and Microsoft excel to generate financial reports and I also have experience with auditing and bookkeeping.
