Noel Kioko

I am an engineering graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I am currently in the process of registering with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a graduate engineer. I am a highly motivated, honest, team player, confident, and articulate in speech. 

Position: Assistant site supervisor at KENHA (September to October 2018)

• Assisted the road surveyor with the calculation of reduced levels of particular road layers through the use of the height of collimation method.
• Prepared daily inspection reports for activities that took place on-site.
• Supervised road maintenance works.
• Aided in carrying out respective lab tests such as the proctor and atterberg limits test necessary for the road design as a lab assistant.
• Prepared lab reports related to the lab tests taken through the use of Word and Excel programs.

  Position: Site attachee at KeRRA (June 24th to September 24th, 2019)

• Prepared the daily inspection reports for activities that took place on-site at Mlango-Soko road in Dagoretti North and at Kiamaiko road about 7km from Kayole.
• Supervised civil engineering works such as the installation of inverted block drains for the roadside drains.
• Wrote minutes for certain client meetings while visiting other potential road sites in Dagoretti North, Umoja estate, Kayole and Huruma estate.

 Position: Attachee at Karanja J.M & Partners Consulting (July to September 2021)

• Assisted with the preparation of engineering drawings.
• Assisted with the preparation of quantity estimates.
• Assisted with writing reports after client meetings.
• Assisted with writing appraisals for respective projects while learning how to carry out road design while utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
