Newton Jaika

I'm a self-driven individual with the desire to explore and grow both personally and professionally. I have computer skills and the English language is fluent in both oral and written.  I believe in teamwork and learning new skills is my desire. My goal is to help the hiring organization reach its desired objectives in the long run. 

I worked as an attache at the department of Finance and Economic Planning at Uasin Gishu County. There, I was mainly responsible for helping with the monitoring and evaluation of the county projects and later drafting analyzed Economic reports. I also had the opportunity of being a mentor at the JMM Leadership Program, an organization that sponsors young intelligent high school students. Through this voluntary program, I developed leadership skills, communication techniques, and the need to embrace teamwork.

 I’m yet to graduate with a BSc in Applied Statistics with computing at the University of Eldoret. Through this period I had the opportunity to interact, socialize and relate with different people. I have acquired skills in dealing with data collection, management, analysis, and report writing. I have knowledge of dealing with Microsoft word, and excel as well as different statistical packages such as Stata and Spss. I'm a fast learner.
