5+ years of extensive hands-on experience in Network Engineering and systems administration.
Designed, implemented, monitored, and supported routed LANs, WLANs, and WANs networks. (Wireless and Fiber)
Windows and Linux system administration. Deployed and supported complex systems both on-premises and on the cloud.

Experience

  1. Highly skilled in Network engineering (Design, Implementation, Routing, switching, security, VPNs,).
  2. Monitoring networks and systems using various monitoring tools such as Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix and PRTG
  3. Excellent Linux command line skills (Ubuntu, Centos, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL))
  4. Experience in virtualization and Containerization technologies i.e., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  5. Systems Administration (Deploying systems, DNS server setup, domain control setup, and supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems). 
  6. Experience setting up and maintaining web servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, and Apache/Nginx in a production environment
  7. Cloud computing experience (Iaas, Paas, Saas)
  8. Highly analytical with extreme attention to detail and the ability to derive facts quickly, methodically, and accurately.

  1. 2013-2017: Multimedia University of Kenya.
    Attained: BSc. Computer Science Degree.
  2. 2009-2012: Kapsabet Boys High School.
    Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
  3. 2001-2008: Kingwal Primary School.
    Kenya Certificate of Primary Education
