-sample management and shipment to testing laboratory as per guidelines 
-Uploading the data that has been collected electronically using tablets 

FROM June 2023 upto date---working as surveillance officer at MAKUENI COUNTY REFFERAL HOSPITAL on safe pediatric surgeries sponsored by (kidsOR) Scotland. In United Kingdom 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
-.Enters data securely and directly into the Redcap database
-Registers all pediatrics’ surgical procedures carried out in the hospital and records all additional information required.
-participate in a monthly check-in with the KidsOR Data and Research Coordinator by 
-teleconference or WhatsApp

My responsibilities as an intern involved the following; 
• Clerking patients and performing relevant investigations. 
• Guiding patients and relatives with regards to diagnosis, treatment and follow up. 
• Documenting and updating patients notes. 
• Writing case summaries. 
• Appropriate handing over patients. 
• Presenting cases during ward rounds and grand rounds and other appropriate fora. 
• Participating in continuing professional development activities (CMEs)
• Maintaining professional demeanor and conduct.
