I am Mohamed Gedi Shire , Kenya registered health nursing officer and ongoing student of Monitoring and evaluation at Daystar university.
In work experience I worked with a private hospital for 2 years and have been working at Save the children international as an outreach assistant for the past 1 year

From March 2020 to August 2022, I gained professional experience working with a private hospital called Fokaz, as well as Jeedah and Safa nursing homes. During this time, I had the opportunity to support the medical staff, assist in patient care, and work closely with the nursing teams.

Currently, I am working as an outreach humanitarian assistant at Save the Children. In this role, I contribute to various outreach programs aimed at supporting vulnerable communities and individuals in need. I am involved in activities such as organizing and coordinating initiatives, facilitating communication between different stakeholders, and providing assistance to those affected by emergencies or crises.

Through my work at Save the Children and my previous experience at Fokaz, Jeedah, and Safa nursing homes, I have developed a strong understanding of healthcare procedures, patient care, and the importance of compassionate assistance. I have also honed my communication and coordination skills, enabling me to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and connect with individuals from different backgrounds.

Overall, my professional journey has encompassed both healthcare and humanitarian assistance sectors, equipping me with a comprehensive skill set to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
