I am a reliable team player; excel in monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure the effective implementation and success of the projects. I am a strategic professional with over 15 years of experience managing projects in the humanitarian sector that deal with livelihoods and child protection. 

Branch Administrative Officer, Child Welfare Society of Kenya(CWSK), Nairobi; Jan 2021 to Date; Leader of the Child Welfare Society of Kenya (CWSK) Mama Ngina Kenyatta Children’s Home.  I provide administrative role, responsible for all branch administration tasks including finances, adoption, foster, guardianship and rescue of children, personnel administration and facility maintenance.

Project Coordinator, Build Africa Kenya(BAK), Kwale; July 2017 to December 2019  I coordinated the implementation of two projects i.e. Subject Excellence Project (Teacher training project to improve education outcomes) & Heshima Project (providing good WASH facilities and helping children to stay clean, healthy, and dignified at school). 

Project Coordinator, Build Africa Kenya (BAK), Kwale; October 2014 to June 2017, Coordinated the Kwale Girls Project Consortium and partnerships, ensuring efficient and transparent communication with partners. Offered supervisory support and program oversight to program staff, trained project Assistants and Field Officers to facilitate communities to apply community dialogue techniques to address barriers to girl's enrolment, retention and transition to secondary schools.

Program Officer- Education, SOS Children’s Village, Eldoret; September 2004 to September 2014. I developed and managed the child and youth protection and development programs to facilitate psychosocial, spiritual, educational and physical development of the children under SOS children’s village care.    

Masters of Arts Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi (February 2013 to September 2014 (course work);  Diploma in Human Resource and Management from Alison College (September 2021 to July 2022) Special Needs Education Certificate from Kenya Institute of Special Education (December 2004 to December 2005). Bachelor of Education in Home Science and Technology (Moi University 1998 to 2003).
