Millicent Awuor

Am a Population Health specialist majorly focusing on the key population in the community, by playing a role of a medium through which the community get to know more about their health,their health needs and problem,thus come about with solutions. This can only be achieved by community participating and engaging themselves in such forums or any other projects that are directly connected to them.Just to mention a few,the vulnerable groups we are interested in are the adolescents,youths, women of reproductive age,special/street children, children living with disabilities, pregnant mothers living with HIV/AIDS among others.

Professionally, I have been an intern at Call Africa Organization, where I acquired a lot of skills and gain experience as per my field of study.I interacted and offered my services to the vulnerable populations especially those who were under the program within the organization.We did nutritional assessment to children with disabilities,and majority of those children were presenting themselves with physical disabilities such as  down syndrome,rickets and Cerebral Palsy.

Academically, I did my KCSE in year 2015,and managed to get B+ which led me into my admission at Kenyatta University,where I pursued a bachelor degree in Population and Reproductive Health for four years.I later graduated with a second class upper in the year 2022, December 16th.
