Roles and duties
A. Leading the platoon in support of company and battalion missions.
B. Informing my higher commander of my actions at all times.
C. Planning missions with the help of the platoon sergeant, squad leaders, and other key personnel.
D. Staying abreast of the situation and going where I am needed to supervise, issue FRAGOs, and Accomplish the mission.
E. Requesting support for the platoon from the company commander to perform its mission.
F. Directing the platoon sergeant in planning and coordinating the platoon’s CSS effort.
G. During planning, receiving on-hand status reports from the platoon sergeant and squad leaders.
H. Reviewing platoon requirements based on the tactical plan.
I. Developing the casualty evacuation plan.
J. During execution, checking the work of the platoon sergeant and the squad leaders.
K. Ensuring the Administration of the solders is well planned and executed.

Achievements

A. Maintained peace and security in war torn areas including border points and Somali through robust Patrols. 
B. Improved the lives of people living in our areas of responsibility by providing humanitarian Support. 
C. Through inter-agency operations was able to secure government installments including Communication masts and other government buildings. 
D. Attended several UN sanctioned trainings to improve proficiency in work. 
E. Increased Cohesion and integration amongst communities through humanitarian programs by all Stakeholders involved. 
F. Received a Gold medal for the time served in Somali during Amisom VII. 
G. Attended several trainings, some military based, to improve proficiency in knowledge on security Matters to pass on to my subordinates.
