I am an enthusiastic and result-oriented expert with over eleven years of experience in geospatial technology applications. My expertise lies in GIS, earth observation, machine learning, and statistics, which I have successfully applied in zoonoses, climate change, food security, and other areas. Throughout my career, I have provided flourishing insights and technical support to projects funded by prestigious organizations like BMZ, World Bank, and USAID.

Proficient in various software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, R, Python, and Power BI, I have effectively analyzed and visualized geospatial data. Additionally, my published works on zoonotic diseases reflect my commitment to promoting sustainable solutions in the field. I am driven by the desire to contribute to the advancement of geospatial technology and its applications in addressing global challenges related to the environment, health, and sustainability.

My most relevant education includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Earth Observation in Natural Resources Management from The University of Twente, ITC, The Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) from Moi University. These qualifications have provided me with a strong foundation in geospatial technology applications and equipped me with essential skills in GIS, remote sensing, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

During my MSc program, I focused on applying earth observation techniques to effectively manage natural resources, gaining expertise in areas such as image processing, data analysis, and geospatial modeling. This degree expanded my knowledge in handling fine-scale resolution imagery and using advanced tools like Google Earth Engine and remote sensing software.

Complementing this, my B.A. in Geography provided a solid understanding of geographical principles and spatial analysis, laying the groundwork for my subsequent career in geospatial technology applications. These educational experiences have been instrumental in my success as a professional in the field, enabling me to contribute effectively to various projects and research endeavors across multiple domains, including zoonoses, climate change, forestry, and biodiversity management.
