I focus on the future of payment infrastructure in Africa, specifically how interoperability, ISO 20022 messaging standards, and blockchain-based settlement layers can modernize cross-border payments, liquidity movement, and financial inclusion. I study and work on how payment systems, APIs, and ISO 20022-based infrastructure enable scalable digital finance, merchant growth, and financial inclusion. I support early-stage fintechs and businesses with research, product thinking, and strategic insights around payments, FX flows, and settlement systems.

My work sits at the intersection of traditional finance and next-generation payment rails, with a strong emphasis on:

- ISO 20022 and its role in global financial messaging
- Interoperable payment networks and open standards
- Cross-border settlement models, including XRPL as a neutral settlement layer
- Mobile money ecosystems and emerging market constraints
 

Education

  Strong academic focus on financial systems, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals as a computer science undergraduate. Alongside my formal studies, I actively deepen my knowledge in digital finance, payment infrastructure, and cross-border settlement systems, with particular interest in ISO 20022, interoperable payment rails, and emerging market financial ecosystems. I am intentionally seeking internships to bridge theory with real-world execution, strengthen my technical skill set, and develop professional exposure within the evolving global payments landscape.
