Marion Weke

I am Weke Marion. I studied supply chain management, majoring in transport and logistics at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. During My time at the university, I served as the representative for my class, a delegate during the 2021/2022 university election, and also as one of the religious leaders in my church. I am very passionate about my work, I'm a team player, possess interpersonal skills, determined, self-driven, and am an able trainee/trainer.

While at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), I did my attachment at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) where I worked hand-in-hand with the senior Supply Chain Officers in the execution of the day-to-day activities of the organization. Some of the activities I was engaged in included: generating purchase requisitions, processing quotations from suppliers, creating local sales orders (LSO), local purchase orders (LPO), goods receipt notes (GRN), and direct procurement among others.

I did a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, and later on, in my 4th year, I specialized in the transport and logistics option. For my secondary education, I studied at Kipsigis Girls High and attained a grade  B- in KCSE. I did my primary education at M. M. SHAH Primary School and scored marks 379 in KCPE.
