I am a hardworking and motivated person with interpersonal skills and communication skills. I am ambitious person who have developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake or situation that I am present with.
I am self-initiated food scientist with ability to combine current academic knowledge and theoretical trainings with practical experience to provide solutions-oriented services.

Have in two companies as a quality Analyst and gained experience on food hygiene, quality analysis,online analysis,product sampling and quality checks.

I wish to create and add value for the organization, myself and the nation at large through hardwork, integrity,honesty,competence, loyalty,creativity, innovation and adherence to the set organizational culture. My aim and prayer is to get a placement in an organization that offers me an opportunity to apply my skills and a learning experience to fully exploit my potential for it's benefit as well as my growth.
 

5th October 2021 to 11 February 2022: Working at Master Macadamia nuts Limited as a Quality Controller 
  Specific responsibilities are;
- Updating records and documents as stated in various procedures.
- Analysing the nuts at various stages;from receiving to dispatch to ensure conformity of the standards.
- Rejection of raw material or final products if not meeting the required specifications.
- Conducting cracker performance to ensure that all crackers are effective.
- Conducting quality control checks for kernels during production.
- Ensuring maintenance of the required hygiene in the production area.
- Supervising production and updating production records.
- Performing daily QC checks on floor, equipment and machine audits.

8thJune to 2nd October : Worked  at Batian Nuts Limited supporting the production department as a Quality Control trainee. 
Specific responsibilities were:
- Inspection, sampling goods and checking products for defects and deviations from specifications.
- Updating records and documents as stated in various procedures.
- Conducting quality control checks for kernels during production.
-evaluation of quality, organoleptic and analytical parameters against specifications.
-rejection of raw material or final products if not meeting specifications in liaison with the QA.
-overseeing quality activities in the production area and conducting online analysis.
- Ensuring maintenance of the required hygiene in the production area.
- Trained and appointed member of the Food  Safety Team to ensure sufficient implementation of the system and smooth run on all production processes.

13th January - 30th March 2020: External attachment in ALmasi Bottlers Limited.
14th October -10th November 2019: Did an online course on Farm Data Management.
11-14th September 2019: Participated in the NYERI ASK Show.
27-29th September 2019: Participated in the DeKUT Start-up weekend.
Feb-March 2019: internal attachment at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology
             Skills obtained include processing of products and laboratory analysis on;  Baking Technology, Fruits and Vegetables Technology, meat Technology, Cereal Analysis Technology, Technology of milk and Dairy products and their respective quality analysis.
