Margaret Muhoro

Margaret brings on board a set of skills and competencies that are strategic and valuable in a learning and development ecosystem. She upholds the role and value that education in its various forms brings to human beings. It increases knowledge, strengthens the mind, forms character, and enables one to put their potential to optimum. Education reforms the mind. With over 22 years of deep work experience in the education ecosystem at the tertiary level and recently at a scholar program, I bring on board operational excellence, curriculum development skills, Institutional Leadership, performance management and leadership competencies, a track record of relationship-building with stakeholders, and delivery of results powered by solid academic and professional qualifications.  

• Driving strategic goals, through clear cascading of strategic Key Result Areas, performance management & Leadership, converting learnings to action and creating opportunities to bring on board new knowledge, skills, and competencies. This has honed my skills in leading change.
• Operational Excellence: In this aspect, I am well-grounded as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. I put processes together, and weed out wastes from operations to the delight of internal and external customers.
• Curriculum development and program design: In this regard had the opportunity to design programs, co-create curricula at the national and regional levels and lead their implementation. 
• Examinations / Assessment Management: Having been involved in the processing of professional examinations for the last 17 years, I have gained valuable experience in the processing of examinations from inception to certification.
• Relationship Building and stakeholder Management: This also includes ensuring that the organization is compliant with all required regulatory frameworks. I have achieved these through well-built, strong networks with the players among them TVET Authority(TVETA), Kenya National Qualification Authority(KNQA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and Human Resource Professional  Examinations Board(HRMPEB).
• Team leadership: I have excelled in building teams, coaching, and mentoring team members through skills development, assignment of roles and giving them space to experiment with new ideas.
