About Lynnette Mukami:
My name is Lynnette; I graduated from USIU- Africa in 2019, with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations, with a concentration in development studies. My education background gave me a diversified approach to people interactions, especially with students from different international, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I went on to training at Yusudi limited in the area of business development, where I trained in project ideation, outbound sales process and entrepreneurship. I also did a short course on ICT to better my career effectiveness.
From August 2021 to January 2022, I worked as a team leader for Helasystem tech limited, a start up debt recovery company. I had started out as a debt collector, but due to good performance and meeting set targets consistently I was made team leader. My contract ended due to company shut down early this year due to irredeemable challenges. I was a team leader over 15 debt collectors and gave constant motivation and supervision to meet the desired company targets. I took part in recruitment together with the HR and trained new members on how to do the day to day debt collection in order to meet the key performance indicators required.
In 2021 from January to August, I worked at Quest holdings limited as a debt recovery officer. My role included:keeping track of assigned debtor accounts daily to contact and track debt payment, telephone contact with debtors according to company guidelines and setting time sensitive debt payment plans. My day to day work activity involved contacting debtors through phone calls using the company’s dialer software, making changes to debtor profiles and database records according to responsiveness and confirming debt payments with the team leader.
My previous work experiences have accorded me with skills in people relations, targets and service delivery, ability to work under pressure and teamwork in executing goals assigned to me.
