As a meticulous accountant with experience handling numerous accounting and financial roles. The experience I have gained have enabled me to increase in skill-set and grow as a professional. Some of the skills I have acquired include: accounting, finance, cash reconciliations, efficient accounts payable and receivables, financial reporting, risk assessment, logistics, stock management, training, tax and statutory. Some of the roles that I have successfully handled include: handling accounts receivables, facilitating customer order tracking, training junior accounts assistants, analyzing financial information, preparing financial reports, invoicing shipment tracking, costing of different projects, allocating activities to the employees, processing salaries and wages and effecting statutory and non-statutory deductions. Moreover, I am an avid problem solver and an expert who can ensure the smooth flow of operations. I am seeking challenging accounting position, where I will contribute to improving systems as I ensure proficiency in the Finance and Accounting Department.
Experience
- Accounting : Adept with expertise in general accounting principles, Bank and cash reconciliations, petty cash management, general ledgers and balancing of accounts, accounts payables and receivables and ensuring proper book keeping.
- Financial Skills: An expert in matter of finance such as financial management, monitoring expenditures, budget preparation and planning and justifying variances.
- Tax and Statutory Deductions: Well versed with handling various taxes (VAT and withholding) with knowledge in the preparation of statutory payments i.e. P.A.Y.E, N.S.S.F, N.H.I.F and payroll management.
- Detail Oriented: I value accuracy and ensure that every duty I undertake pays close attention to details and captures all the valuable data in terms of cost monitoring and compilation of detailed financial reports.
- Flexibility: Capacity to fit into any environment, maintaining calmness under pressure and can adapt well whilst transitioning with changes in the workplace.
- Planning and organization: Ability to identify and prioritize activities and assignments, make necessary adjustments as required; foresee risks and allow for contingencies when planning.
- Documentations: Skilled in keeping update financial records; maintaining the integrity involved and reporting on the same to senior management.
- Computer Systems: Working knowledge of accounting systems like QuickBooks, Pastel and Sage.
- Confidentiality: I am an in a position to keep the information secret, especially when handling the payroll.
