About Lumula Collins:
I am an experienced Sales Manager with a strong track record of driving sales growth, increasing market share, and retaining customers in both product-based and service-based industries. I have proven expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies for regional, area, and territory management, as well as market share growth.
Currently, I am working as a Sales Manager at Duhqa, where I evaluate performance against goals, develop comprehensive business strategies, and implement sales and marketing plans. I also maintain an ethical and positive working environment, build relationships with vendors, and reduce process bottlenecks by training and coaching the sales team.
Previously, I held various sales roles at Kibanda TopUp, KOKO Networks, and Wananchi Group, where I focused on growing the number of active customers, managing brand relationships, and optimizing point-of-sale campaigns. I also have experience in data entry and field sales, where I collaborated with sales departments and marketing teams to create opportunities for brand awareness.
I am skilled in leadership, relationship building, coaching, strategy, content strategy, and customer relationship management (CRM). My ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service has allowed me to excel in my career, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of my team.
Experience
I have rich sales experience spanning various roles and industries. I started as a Sales Executive at Wanaanchi Group (Zuku) in 2015, where I focused on addressing customer concerns and generating sales through cold calling and networking. I then moved to KOKO NETWORKS, working as a Trade Development Representative and later as a Customer Sales Representative. In these roles, I built client relationships, identified sales opportunities for KOKO points, and provided exceptional customer service.
Subsequently, I worked at Osho Chemicals as a Trade Developer, where I managed brand relationships and optimized point-of-sale campaigns. I then held multiple positions at Topup Mama, starting as a General Trade Team Leader and eventually becoming the General Trade Sales Manager. In these roles, I was responsible for leading the sales team, providing coaching, and monitoring competitor activities.
Most recently, I have been working as the Head of Sales at Duhqa Limited since April 2022. I focus on managing teams generating sales, developing sales strategies, analyzing sales metrics and KPIs, and managing territory objectives. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong sales and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and market growth.
