Lucy Ngugi

I am a US registered Nurse with over 17 years of nursing experience recently relocated from the US to my home country here in Kenya. I have great and diverse work experience working as a clinical nurse in the progressive care units, Triage/ advice nurse, as well as nurse preceptor/mentor. I completed my Master of Nursing Science degree in Education at George Mason University in 2012 and I am passionate about improving health of individuals and families. I have tremendous experience in most areas of nursing specialties, care coordination, case management, managed care insurance procedures etc. I am really passionate about primary/preventative care as it’s the basis for improving the health of individuals. I place great emphasis on patient education as that can change the health of our families and in turn improve the health of our nations. I hope to have an opportunity to tell you all about my experiences and how I think I can benefit your organization.
