Lucy Barasa

My name is Lucy and Iam 27yrs old. I studied Biological sciences at the Jomo Kenyatta university. Am a skilled bio-researcher and an expert in most of the scopes of science especially those evolving around data collection, analysis and computation .I also love nature and everything pertaining it. I believe that life evolves around science and its simply  interesting to explore, master and solve all the mysteries of it. 

I worked as a research assistant at the National Museums of Kenya's science laboratories. My major responsibility was bio-sampling research. It included the following activities:

• Field collection of sample which were mainly birds, insects, small mammals.
• Identification and grouping-that putting them to their respective classification 
• Labelling and computation of the data samples in accordance to their characteristics and distribution. 
• Other departmental activities were; mammal taxidermy practices, workshops and general animal biology research. 

I also worked at  Bimeda limited as a sales and marketing agent for the company’s veterinary products and my major roles were;

• Assisting in identifying the commonly supplied veterinary products at specific agrovets shops in the region
• Promoting the company’s products via advertising.
• Identifying the specific needs of farmers as per their crops and domestic animals
• Making sales on the animal products and farming equipment
