Lorren Gwayi

A highly trained Medical Laboratory Technologist with experience in performing a variety
of multi-skilled functions including specimen collection, receiving and preparing of
specimen analysis, work flow coordination, molecular analysis of samples, culture and
sensitivity, performing a routine clinical and clerical operations to ensure smooth operation
in the lab, serving as a liaison to internal and external customers.
I aspire to be part of a team that strives to understand the environment through research
in such a way that the transmission of infections will be reduced highly reduced.
Contributes to means and prevention measures that prevent the transmission of these said
infections.
Provide safeguarding to minorities in the community, this includes Child Safeguarding,
Gender-Based Violence victims and Sexual Reproductive Health right to women and
adolescent girls and everyone in the community. And as a WASH (Water Sanitization and
Hygiene) technician, I will also ensure proper hygiene and sanitization implementation in
my place of work in order to reduce infections.

• Worked at VitalRay Health Solutions as a Laboratory Technologist from June 2019 to
April
2021.
• Worked at Halton’s Medical Clinic as a Laboratory Technologist from January 2019 to May
2019.
• Internship at Langata Hospital in for six months in the year 2018.
• Volunteer as a Laboratory Technologist at a medical camp in Korogocho held by the Faith
Evangelistic Ministry in the year 2018.
• Rotation at Kenyatta National Hospital for one year as part of the course in the year
2017.
• Attachment at Kitale District Hospital for three months as part of the course in the year
2016.
