About Longin Ndayizeye:

A Teacher of French with bachelor degree +5 in education and with 8 years of experience teaching both in kenya and Burundi. 

I pocess good communication skills and interpersonal skills that has enabled me teach with ease and seamlessly. 

I am highly motivated about French teaching and this has made my class lessons fun. 

I am a team player and I work with minimal supervision with attention to deadlines. 

I participate in many extra cocurricular activities like volleyball, aerobics, basket ball and  hand ball

Twiga plains primary school _July 2022 to date 
🞂 Teaching French lessons from Grade one to grade 4 and pupils have had good pass grades .
🞂 Preparation of training curriculum for all classes 
🞂 Participating in Kenya music festivals , training French solo verses which currently has attained position 1 in the zonal level , sub county , county and regional levels and position 3 National level
🞂 I lead in co-curricular activities and training students in Aerobics and volleyball


FRENCH proficiency trainer and translator (Individual contractor) 
Refugee Point _ International NGO (March 2022 –August 2022)
🞂 Interviewing refugees from Congo, Burundi and Rwanda in Nairobi and kakuma for French proficiency training 
🞂 After interviews Classifying the refugees in order of knowledge of French language (beginner, Intermediate and Native, ) 
🞂 Training the three groups on different sessions in preparations for TEF ( TEST D’EVALUATION DE FRANÇAIS)  
🞂 Once passing of exams the refuges are relocated to Canada for various job opportunities through Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot(EMPP). 
🞂 I translate documents from French and Kirundi to English and vice versa.
🞂 I act as a translator in meetings between the refugees and the staff

🞂 Through preparations of candidates for exams

🞂 Managing French subject from form one to form four where I assumed all responsibilities including regular classroom teaching, preparing academic materials while engaging the students to better grasp the subject.
🞂 Providing individualized instruction and assistance to students based on need, handled small administrative duties such as recording students’ attendance, organizing their portfolio, and collaborating with other teachers in order to implement the curriculum.
🞂 Gained experience in nurturing and leading students towards developing French as a subject towards developing French through talks and exhibitions.
🞂 Gained experience on practical ways of overcoming poor attitude among students towards French subject.
🞂 As a school Chaplain, I gained experience in conducting organized worship services in innovative and ecumenical ways, offered peer counselling to students especially orphans and others with family related problems. 
🞂 As a school Chaplain, I offered divine and religious guidance to students, parents and colleagues who faced distressing situations.
🞂 I gained experience towards creating a trusted relationship with students with worst emotional experiences and trauma such as rape victims, those with HIV and AIDS and those struggling with drug abuse menace where I maintained a professional conduct appropriate to all circumstances. 
🞂 As a staffroom prefect, I gained experience in working with people from diverse cultures, communicating relevant information to colleagues, solving conflicts among colleagues and also organizing for team building sessions to enhance staff unity.

Key Achievements 
🞂 Was recognized by the school administration for instilling the students with love for French subject. By the end of the year, majority of the students achieved a 75% pass rate. 
🞂 Increased the pass rate of form one students from 67% to a record high of 79% on mastery of content.
🞂 Helped improve the enrolment rates of students in French as a subject from 40% to a high record of 85%.
🞂  Helped improve the staffroom efficiency by overhauling and reorganizing previously haphazard filing system.
🞂 Received recognition for guiding students to participate in French inter-school competitions.
