Lilian Wamae

I am a recent graduate from Kenyatta University with a Bachelor degree in Commerce, Finance option. I am applying for a position in your Company, because I believe that I have the skills, knowledge, and passion to contribute to the success of your organization.

I learned how to manage the cash flow, budget, and expenses of  my own savings through the knowledge I accrued and how to make informed decisions based on financial data. I also developed a keen sense of responsibility, integrity, and teamwork, as I worked with my friends to achieve our goals.

At Kenyatta University, I pursued my passion for finance by taking courses in accounting, economic  and financial management. I excelled in my academic performance, graduating with a second class upper division degree. I also volunteered as a tutor and mentor for underprivileged students, helping them with their math and chemistry  homework and inspiring them to pursue higher education.

During my studies, I gained practical experience in finance by completing as a stock controller at Attic lounge - Mirema drive, where I assisted the manager with preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and conducting market research. I learned how to use various software tools, such as Excel to perform financial calculations and modeling. I also improved my communication and presentation skills, as I presented my findings and recommendations to the managers and clients.here. I applied my analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as my knowledge of financial theories and concepts, to solve complex problems and provide sound solutions. .
