  • County Branch Coordinator 

My  responsibilities in KRCS were among others:

-Providing effective, confidential administrative and secretarial support for all county branch operations and programmes.

- Providing support in development, implementatn and evaluation of programmes management plans.

-  Coordination of the implementation of an integrated community based programmes that include public health, social services, water and sanitation, disease prevention and control, as well as emergency health care management.

- Develop strategies for strengthening collaborative partnerships and networks with stake holders, government agencies, the private sector, and other players to ensure implementation of programmes that enhance organizational quality standards and effectiveness.

-Prepare periodic projects status reports and oversee the documentation and reporting of programmes to ensure compliance with the stipulated requirements, timely responses to donor queries as well as informing on constraints of projects delivery.

- Coordinate monitoring and evaluation of donor funded programmes and projects by staff in order to evaluate progress, ensure accountability, determine impact and report significant achievements to ensure organizational learning.

Community Youth and Women Empowerment officer(Kericho-Kajiado)

  • Empowerment of the vulnerable in the society including Women and Youths by equipping them with Business skills, ICT Skills and Life skills.
  • Helping youths to form self-help groups and link them to Micro Financial Institutions to ensure financial inclusion.
  • Life coaching, psychosocial support, counseling and mentoring those youths and women to cope with the situation they are in.
  •  Advocating on behalf of the organization to the community and coming up with partnerships that benefited both the community and the organization.
  • Conducting Action Research in the community’s complaints and feedback log with the aim of solving problems facing achievements and set standards for project implementation.

Kericho County citizen ict center

  • Installation and configuration of local area data communications networks between work stations following center standards for better citizen service provision.
  • Installation, operation and maintenance of network services, routers, concentrators, hubs, switches, modems and other network devices following technical plans.
  • Resolve network communications problems to ensure user’s access of files and confirm the working an availability of client programs for downloading and uploading of files and folders.
  • Install or repair Windows OS to the computers with standardized applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations.
  •  Respond to user questions and explain the operation of network applications and equipment.
  •  Community mobilization and training on ICT via the DOT ReachUp! programme
  •  Perform other related duties as required.

Chief technician/Attendant

  • Data control and client-server system administration and control
  • Assist customers when they have trouble or questions using computer software’s such as Microsoft Office, Adobe software’s and all software’s that are being used in the IT Center.
  • Provide services such as encoding, printing, downloading and all other operations provided by the center.
  • Computer maintenance and software installation to the Server and the Client work stations.
  •  Troubleshooting different kinds of computer programs, hardware’s and software’s.
  • Providing excellent customer care service.

I hold a Diploma in Information Technology from Mount Kenya University. I am a patriotic Kenyan and a positive devotee of the livelong success in education in line with Information Technology as the only reputable key to a brighter transition to higher education.
