Position:       Assistant credit controller.

Duties:

• Setting the credit limits for the customers.
• Reconcile customers’ accounts and settlement of any disputes relating to customers’ accounts
• Generating customer invoices and dispatching them to the clients both on mails and hard copies.
• Posting and allocation of payment receipts using SAP.
• Receiving and banking of cheques.
• Preparing and sending daily collection reports to the CFO, GM & MD.
• Review accounts ageing report to discern payments that are due.
• Sending of statements and invoices to respective customers on a monthly basis.
• Liaising and negotiating with customers on their payment terms & plans.
• Ensuring payments due from clients are settled on time and payment plans for the clients are adhered to the latter.
• Ensuring all customers’ accounts are up to date and payments posted and allocated accordingly.
• Preparing and sending the requested reports to CFO.

Key achievements

•  Managed to reconciled clients’ accounts especially those disputed ones, making the clients to make payments hence reducing the aging to manageable one.
• Satisfying the customers on regards to accounts reconciliations, making the customers to make payments on a regular basis.
