Duties and responsibilities 
Cooked mainly African traditional dishes using different cooking techniques such as Baking,grilling,steaming,boiling etc.
Consulted with supervisory staff to plan menus, taking into consideration factors such as costs and special event needs.
Managed kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Collaborated with the head chef in inventory management and ordering supplies.
Maintained kitchen safety measures by ensuring that sanitation practices are carried out to the letter.
Ensured that kitchen is set up with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales.

Maintained a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.

3: The Kyaka Hotel.

Duties and responsibilities
Trained as a waiter by responding to orders of drinks and foods and ensured great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Kept a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Prepared ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Ensured Cleanliness of all guest houses, kitchen and storerooms.
