My roles for this position include:
Sales Development - Gather market intelligence for competitiveness and assist Sales Manager to develop coil sales growth strategies and implementation.
Optimal and expanded product mix - Actively research market for new product opportunities outside current core Sectors and work with Marketing team to develop and train on new Coil products
Sales volumes – Achieve sales volumes & realization as per budget while monitoring competition closely and provide regular reporting in respect to competitor strategy, products and prices.
Cash collection & debtors’ management -Ensure customer accounts are within credit limits, Cash collection & debtor’s management.

2019-2021: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
My roles for this position include: Analyze import and export documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure accuracy of documentation and compliance with customs rules and regulations.
Issuing shipping schedules to ensure delivery times and locations are co-ordinated.
Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports. Deal with customs and local authorities for day to day operational issues Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, purchasing, materials management, production and overall operating functions.
Coordinate with production planning team to ensure timely readiness and delivery of orders.
Coordinate payment terms in collaboration with the sales manager and finance department to ensure reduced DSO.
Coordinate with transporters to provide trucks for loading ready material, plan the loading process and ensure truck turnaround time is as per SOP.
Liaising with clearing agents on cargo clearance with customs.
Generate delivery notes, gate passes, loading slips and invoices as per stock transfer order (STO) quantity/requested requirement from customer in SAP
Ensure necessary taxes are paid to enable trucks exit the boarder and track orders until they are delivered to customers.
Liaise with line managers for any special dispatch requirements
Proactively address and resolve any dispatch issues that may arise.
Any other job as may be assigned from time to time
MERU WATER AND SEWERAGE SERVICES
2015-2019: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
My roles for this position include:
Coordinate job process flows and procedures to ensure compliance with laid down procedures.
Training, guiding and evaluating new warehouse workers.
Tracking expenses related to fuel, storage and equipment maintenance.
Schedule consignments to ensure receiving of parts into the Warehouse is planned for as per SOP for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in the process
Monitor compliance with Warehouse security procedures to ensure security bridges are addressed in a timely manner
Ensuring adherence to stock issuing models such as First in First Out.
Supervise the delivery of service by the warehouse team to ensure the team
performs within the expected performance timelines, and that it is highly motivated
Moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse and coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Monitoring stock levels and raising purchase requisitions and develop dispatch schedules and ensure they are followed to ensure timely delivery to customers both internal and external
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and prepare reports as required
