I am a recent graduate at The University of Nairobi, looking to apply my skills and abilities professionally. My focus as an aspiring professional is to utilize my skills in data science and analysis, making a positive impact. I enjoy compiling, organizing and analyzing data, working in groups and contributing to project strategies. I am proficient in Python, SQL, NoSQL, machine learning, and data visualization. 

Experience

I have worked as a census enumerator in the last census of 2019. I was able to achieve the following in that role:

  • Traveled door-to-door in assigned communities and requested participation in census interview, clearly explaining process and purpose.
  • Drafted thorough and accurate reports, case summaries and work records, including required statistics.
  • Planned efficient visitation routes by studying maps of assigned areas, reaching more than 10 community households per day.
  • Obtained updated contact information from all subjects and verified data for accuracy.

I have completed the Moringa School Data Science program, gaining skills in the following areas:

  • Data visualization with both Python and Tableau
