About Kevin Wanja:
I am a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher with experience as school laboratory technician. My Alma mater is The Kenyatta University where I pursued bachelor of Education (science). I have five years of experience in teaching and also working as a laboratory technician. I am very passionate about the practical approach of science which has really helped in making science education interesting and changing learners attitudes towards sciences. I also have a passion for technical courses such as carpentry and masonry, which I usually practise during my free time. I have the ability to adopt to any work environment and I am always eager to acquire new skills and experience.
Experience
I have worked as a Mathematics /Chemistry teacher at Molo highway Secondary school in Nakuru where I double up as the school laboratory technician from 2019 - 2021.
From 2022, I am currently working at St Francis Motohope academy in Kuresoi North Kenya as a Science teacher and the Head laboratory technician. I am also the head of department of mathematics and science in the school. In addition I play a role as the patron of the science, mathematics and Health Club.
Education
I am an alumni of Molo secondary school where I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2013 and got 73 out of 84 point - B+ grade
I also a graduate of Kenyatta University where I pursued bachelor of Education (science) obtain a GPA of 65.00 - second class honour's upper division.
I have also done a courses on computer packages of Microsoft Word and Microsoft excel in worldsoft Computer college where I got a distinction.
