Kevin Ndura

I am a data analyst by profession at Assent and with previous work in USAID funded projects as a youth researcher. I have undertaken leadership roles within my organization and previous research projects that saw me excel and earn recognition in several summits. I work well within a team and can collaborate and work towards a common goal. I implore teamwork but I make decisions after critical thinking and with evidence-based analysis however unpopular it may be.

Assent Compliance – (Customer Support Analyst)

• Gathering compliance data from client’s supply chain, validating, and ensuring quality assurance of Data before entry before submission to client - supplier database.
• Establishing a good and working relationship with new suppliers and clients to ensure the response rate is seamless and to minimize waiting time by client for service delivery.
• I have led my team in successful sourcing of new clients with effective marketing and successful campaigns of our strategy and customer retention techniques that are proven by data collected throughout the annual reviews.
• I have also solved several customer issues raised through the help desk and that had been escalated by placing a call and walking the client through the methodology used to help understand our processes and then after tailored our approach to meet their needs.
• I am a daily user of salesforce in dealing with service requests and email queries by clients and suppliers alike to ensure they are responded to in time and solving the cases raised promptly.

Jan 2021 to Dec 2021

IREX - Youth Researcher

• I took the lead in developing sampling tools, scheduling interviews, and planning for focus group discussion with the respondents.
• I built a good relationship with researchers across several nationalities to ensure data was handled systematically from collection to analysis.
• I supported program managers in Washington DC in the data collection and planning of workshops in collaboration with the local offices. I ensured the cash reimbursements were done in accordance with the set financial policies of the IREX organization in a timely manner. 
• Planned and designed models for scoping interventions for post covid-19 recovery among the youth by managing online workshops, cohosting the event and leading the participants in formulating creative innovations to provide digital mental health support for the youths in guidelines with the WHO handbook.
• Led and supervised my team in conducting desk review on existing literature in an Intersectional Rapid Gender Analysis, for innovative projects to be launched targeting the youths in Kisumu by providing resources for field work and writing paperwork for current progress for reporting to partners in IREX & USAID.
• I reviewed consent forms for field work data and workshops and did a detailed data analysis for the participants who took part in the mental health study. I was the point person that supported the University of Sussex mental health pilot project that took 6 months. 

 June 2020 – Dec 2020 

Standard Chartered Bank – (Customer Acquisition Agent- Contingent) 

• I provided clients with updates on investment opportunities while taking time to discuss the potential returns in each one of them to inform their judgement.
• I provided immediate customer support to resolve minor technicalities to do with atm cards and internet banking. 
• I collected feedback and opinions from customers regarding the User interface and other bank products and relayed the same to the IT technicians for evaluation. 

Sep 2018 – May 2020 

CloudFactory Company Limited - (Customer Data Specialist)        

• Carried out phone calls with the engineering team on issues relating to platform downtimes and bug reporting.
• I provided operational support to the cloud workers on the matters relating to ticket escalations to enable prompt resolutions.
• I partnered with Nepalese workers, and clients from across the world to come up with universal performance metrics that could be adopted into a policy worldwide. 
• I reviewed workers' performance and provided training and refresher courses to improve their understanding of the basic and advanced concepts. This applied to new content as well as enhancements.

Feb 2017 – Aug 2018 

Atlantah African Cuisine – (Operations Officer) 

• I compiled inventory records, reviewed invoices by suppliers and authorized payment for goods supplied as per the supplier-customer agreement.
• I supervised and sourced for transport facilities to support big events. I filed agreement forms and maintained duplicates for reference and for auditing purposes.
• Delivered a stable increase in revenue and filed financial records for monthly review and auditing.  

May 2016 – Dec 2016 

Dreamville Properties Limited – (Administrative Assistant) 

• As a personal assistant to the managing director, I ensured the repair support documentation was available to technicians regarding homeowners’ requests. 
• I prepared contract forms for incoming tenants and walked clients through the requirements and reviewed their documentation for suitability in letting our properties.
• I oversaw the running of our properties and ensured caretakers; security personnel were well equipped with materials for use in their daily roles.  

May 2015 – July 2015 

Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital – (Administrative Intern) 

• Successfully established partnerships with Safaricom and other NGOs tasked with provision of an electronic filing system and networking of the Hospital systems. 
• I analyzed the procurement records against the requisition by hospital staff and offered recommendations on the items to be included in the purchase order.  
• I evaluated recent developments in the service delivery to patients versus the projected target to change systemic challenges and introduce more efficient ones.

Volunteering and Community Work  

A member of the UNV in a partnership of UNDP with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Sustainable Blue Economy staff: 

• I facilitated pre-event preparation where I supported logistical arrangements and fieldwork support related to media centre setup of KICC conference halls. 
• I worked for the accreditation of the conference participants with the Nairobi County Council Offices.

I hold a Bsc. Health Services Management where I finalized with a leadership course alongside a measuring and evaluation certificate by USAID.
